Staple curry joint supported by knowledgeable and curry loving employees. Had a young man helping us with ordering and it was a phenomenal experience. The rice, sauce, and meats are all working in unison to provide your taste buds with pure joy.

They are takeout only right now and remember, they only accept cash. The takeout portions are aren’t as generous as the dine in portions. Good news is they offer a fully vegetarian curry but only in mild. The vegetable croquettes are delicious and crispy even though it’s take out. Wish they delivered!

Wow, incredible! First time having Japanese Curry and this place came as a recommendation from a local. Worth the trek over from the beach to get!

Establishment was clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is small and it starts getting busier later in the evening. If you’ve had Coco’s in Japan and are craving some more. This is the place to go! The menu isn’t exactly the same as in Japan and they only have two spice levels but the food is still delicious and will satisfy your craving. Prices are excellent for the portion size. Make sure you have cash because they don’t take card. Would 100% recommend to others and eat there again myself.

Delicious food with big portion. I love the Japanese vibe.

I'm alittle bias when it comes to chicken katsu curry. Hands down curry house is my comfort food. I've visited curry house with my friends since 2004. Ate here throughout my college years. The restaurant was originally a chain restaurant from Japan, but I think its no longer tied to the japanese chain. Anyways, my go to is the chicken katsu curry udon, spicy with spinach. After you eat it, you will get a 'kanak attack' (fall into a food coma, get sleepy) lol. I feel like you get more food when you sit inside but take out is faster and easier for me. Also, the curry udon used to come with rice and total less than 10...now it's 14 and no rice. Also note, the japan chain has multiple spicy levels. The hawaii chains has mild and spicy. Spicy is not spicy, in my opinion. Just need to add more japanese spicy powder youself.

If you want good Japanese curry without destroying your wallet, this is the place. Portions are generous and they have some menu options that I didn't know existed based on my previous visits to this franchise. I had the fried oyster curry which isn't an obvious curry dish, if you ask me, but it works!!! Flavorful and not overly spicy makes this an ideal place for a quick bite.

Absolutely the best! Kids loved it first time eating there this week. Total memory flashback to Japan days. Perfect curry. Great price. Excellent service.
